WAIT FOR IT....

Unless someone kicks it between now and noon Thursday we have our second carry-over year. A little background on how the carry-over point rules enacted based on a majority rule vote, led by Death Pool advocate, Chad Ulrich.

Official Carry-Over Rules:

1) If you are new to the pool, you have 2 choices for play; select a 2013 pick and toss in $1, OR select 2, 2013 picks for $2.


2) If you are a returning pool member; 2012 picks are unchanged and you select a companion 2013 pick for $1.

3) For whatever reason, if you have only one (1) pick for either year (2012 or 2013), and manage to win, you're awarded 1/2 the pot. The remaining dollars carry-over.


SCORING: Any of your picks, from either year, passing away from now until Thanksgiving 2014, will earn you points. Same scoring applies (100-celebrity age=pts awarded)

Since we didn't have a winner in 2012, picks and the purse ($) will be carried over to the following year. The Death Pool Governing Council (Chad and Laura) will be charged with a complete evaluation and ruling about carry over rule #3. The official determination will be made DPGC about the distribution of pool dollars.


Don't forget to bring your selections for 2013 everyone! If you’re calling or texting your 2013 pick you must have the money and selection submitted by noon on Thanksgiving. Marge will be responsible for coordinating the picks in Laura’s absence.
