Not Half and Half-It's Heavy Cream
Deciding on a long shot Death Pool pick; Joe Leto whipped up this years winning selection in Ginger Baker, English drummer and co-founder of the rock band, Cream. Marching to the beat of his own drum nets $185 this year!
The honorable, Michael Felix Ziarnik held the lead for most of the year with his runner-up pick, Green Bay Packer legend, Bart Starr who died May 26, 2019 (aged 85=15 points).
Newcomer, Adam Rollin had a strong start right out of the gate with his selection of George H. W. Bush, who died shortly after Thanksgiving last year, November 30, 2018 (aged 94=6 pts).
This years picks must be ready to go by noon Thanksgiving day. It's a $5 entry fee, one pick per person, current picks have right of first refusal (see rule #12). Have a back-up pick ready in case your selection is taken earlier in the draft.
As for me, I'm keeping my pick from last year (see rule #12) Macaulay Culkin (aged 39 years) who apparently changed is legal name in 2019, via crowsourcing on Twitter, to Macaulay Maculay Culkin Culkin, followed by Maculay TheMcRibsBack Culkin, which makes me want to win this thing ever more this year. I'm sure you all agree. I mean seriously, who does that shit...?

The rules are simple and here they are:
- The person must be a celebrity "now" and not become a celebrity because of their death
- The celebrity cannot be a death row inmate, even in states that don't execute death row inmates (e.g., California)
- The you cannot kill anyone on your list
- The celebrity cannot be dead before you post your picks
- The celebrity must be human (no animals)
- The celebrity cannot already be diagnosed with a terminal illness. Clarification in 2018: Aids will be recgonized as a terminal illness. You cannot pick someone diagnosed with Aids. If you already have a pick with Aids, they're grandfathered in. You can keep them.
- Points are awarded by subtracting the age of the dead celebrity from 100 (50 year old gets you 50 points, 80 year old gets you 20 points, etc.)
- All selections and entry fees must be submitted by noon on Thanksgiving Day
- NEW in 2018: In the event of a roll-over and you don't have a bet for the previous year entry fee will include current and previous year and you only get 1 pick.
- NEW in 2018: You must be able to verbalize your pick. So you cannot make a bet for an unborn baby or someone in a coma.
- NEW in 2018: You must be paid up to win.
- NEW in 2018: Current owners of the pick have 'right of first refusal' to keep that pick, even if someone dies
