It's the most wonderful time of the year...

With a complete and absolute shut-out in 2010, we're carrying the pool $ over for another year. Based on a majority rule vote, led by Death Pool advocate Chad Ulrich, 2010 picks and bets will officially carry-over to 2011. Other newly introduced rules for carry-over picks:

1) If you are new to the pool, you have 2 choices for play; select a 2011 pick and toss in $1, OR select 2 2011 picks for $2.
2) If you are a returning pool member; 2010 picks are unchanged and you select a companion 2011 pick for $1.
3) For whatever reason, if you have only one pick for either year, and manage to win, you're awarded 1/2 the pot. The remaining dollars carry-over.

SCORING: Any of your picks, from either year, passing away from now until Thanksgiving 2011, will earn you points. Same scoring applies (100-celebrity age=pts awarded)

It's that time again. Make your picks for which celebrities will die in 2011.

The rules are simple:

a) the person must be a celebrity "now" and not become a celebrity because of their death
b) the person cannot be a death row inmate
c) you cannot kill anyone on your list
d) the celebrity cannot be dead before you post your picks
e) the celebrity must be human (no animals)
f) cannot already be diagnosed with a terminal illness
g) points are awarded by subtracting the age of the dead celebrity from 100 (50 year old gets you 50 points, 80 year old gets you 20 points, etc.)
